Lumberjack Shows Website Gets a New Look

  • July 9th, 2007

Home page photo of Tall Timber Shows website.Branson hosts a number of shows. Some are in the middle of town, other just off the beaten bath, and still others seem to pop up in various places. One thing is for sure. To stay on the radar, each show’s identity must always look fresh.

It seems as though, one show in Branson featuring lumberjacks has made it a point to keep this thought in mind. Recently Tall Timber Shows underwent a home page redesign.

According to Way Out Web Dezign, the web site design and hosting company that performed the implementation of the new homepage, the site owner wanted “to convey a message of action to his site visitors”.

Tall Timber Shows recently announced its latest facet of operation: The traveling show. According to the information on the traveling show page of the website, virtually anyone contact Tall Timber and they will custom tune a show for a variety of events. As mentioned on the website, marketing assistance is provided by Tall Timber Shows prior to the day of the event.

Autumn Colors, Right on Time

  • October 27th, 2006

Fall Colors in Full EffectJust as previously announced, the Fall colors are in full focus and right on time too! I was on my way into town a couple days ago and had my camera. The colors are brilliant just as they are in this photo, everywhere you look.

The second or third week in October is usually the best time to see the most vivid colors. I noticed today, however, there is a nice breeze that seems to be lifting the color off them like a paintbrush on a palette. That probably means not much more time to see the great colors around Branson. Well, that’s all for today, see you next time.

More Color Info to Fall Into

Recently I wrote a post mentioning the color change schedule for the Branson area. Autumn colors are not only a site to see for visitors to Branson. The Ozarks actually extend down into Arkansas as well. There is much information available online about Fall colors. However, I thought I would supply you with a link to a website that has a current Fall Foliage Report for Arkansas. Thanks for reading, please continue to visit BransonScene.com!

By-the-way, here is a link to some interesting information about fall tourism and “leaf peepers”.

A Waxing Attraction

  • July 19th, 2006

For as long as I can remember, the wax museum has been an attraction to which Branson visitors pay much attention. In recent years however, this unique draw has grown in recognition and prominence.

In the heart of the Ozarks you can get a taste of Hollywood. The Hollywood Wax Museum in Branson delivers over 170 life-like figures in famous Hollywood sets. Stars like John Wayne, Elvis, the cast of M.A.S.H., Johnny Depp, the Wizard of Oz, and even The Matrix are included among the displays.

The museum is open 365 days a year for the convenience of its guests, unique in many respects and a sure point of interest for families visiting Branson.

More Than an Indoor Pool

  • July 15th, 2006

When doing research on what people want in their trip to Branson, Missouri I find all kinds of fun and interesting things. The other day I was researching what people look for in the hotels and discovered that many prefer indoor pools. If that’s you, keep reading - particularly if you have kids.

Talk About An Indoor Pool

If you’re the type that goes full throttle for your kids, this is the hotel you’ve been searching for! Grand Country Inn has an indoor waterpark. That’s right, a waterpark right inside the Inn. There is all kinds of activity-focused pools including a basketball pool and a toddlers pool. However, if your ‘youngins’ like to relax there’s also a lazy river. Makes me wish I was a kid again!
