A Flood of Flood Viewers

There is just something that draws people to high water. Saturday seemed to be the time for everyone to check out the water running through Table Rock Dam.

It seems the recent flooding has become an attraction drawing the curious to lake spots all over Taney county. The interesting thing about it is there are many photos of high water available right on the internet at the click of a mouse. Check out some of the viewer photos uploaded at KY3. Area Resort Gets a Makeover

For its guests, Branson has many great lodging options from which to choose. Motels, hotels, campgrounds, and RV parks just to name a few. Because of this, many accommodations providers are competing for the business of Branson vacationers. This post has been written to feature one resort that has certainly made the statement, “We want your business”! And did not just say it, they are acting on it.

Vickery Resort on Table Rock Lake Branson, Missouri

Located on magnificent Table Rock Lake, in the heart of the Ozarks is newly rebuilt, totally renovated, family resort designed to accommodate the whole group. According to Vickery’s website, which seems to have been recently reconstructed, they have brand new condominiums and an entirely new look.

I was able to locate some background information on the “about us” page of the website. Beyond that page, the site explains some various activities available on the well-known Missouri lake as well as some of the area’s most popular attractions.

Also, the Vickery Resort website has a convenient tool for checking condo availability and an online reservation system designed to make planning your stay quick and easy.

If you’re seeking a condo for the family to enjoy during your next trip to Branson, MO, this is definitely one to look into. It’s brand new, overlooks Table Rock Lake and is adjacent to a state park.

Many will agree that family fun and relaxation is easily accomplished while near the water. Branson, MO features three area lakes, thus it is known as the “Tri-Lakes area”.

One of those lakes is Table Rock Lake. Because of its popularity, a search for Table Rock Lake yields various kinds of information. Most people are looking for official information and that is the purpose of this post.

Additional Branson Canyon Information

Earlier I wrote a post about a new Branson development called Branson Canyon. While I mentioned that Sunset Realty was a contact if you are interested in purchasing, I failed to provide the link to the Branson Canyon website.

You’ll find an abundace of information regarding the new lake homes at Branson Canyon on the new website that was recently launched. It appears as though purchasers will be able to choose among twelve different distinct homes.

Branson Canyon Lake Homes

There is a new development now underway. Branson Canyon construction has begun and the sales of the new affordable lake homes seem to be taking off. Branson Canyon is an Affinity Development, Inc. project through which ADI seeks to bring affordable lake homes with quality and character to the Branson real estate market.

Multiple models and various available floor plans from which to choose, along with a variety of furniture options obtainable through a predetermined ‘allowance’ evidently make the decision easy enough.

Since lake homes are regularly sought after in Branson, this seems to be an attractive market.

Sunset Realty Services is handling sales for the new Table Rock area homes and more information is obtainable through their Branson real estate office.

A Fall Into Autumn

A well-liked and deeply appreciated feature of the Branson area is its foliage in the fall. While the colors are often best seen around the second or third week in October, many of the shows transform their themes in September.

The image shown here is just a snap shot I took from an outlet center parking lot a couple of years ago. The real eye catching color bursts can be seen in the more remote areas.

Table Rock Lake is truly a great place to get some nice, colorful images if you like Autumn foliage. As far as land pictures go, Nearly any state highway in the area affords many opportunities to grab a pixel-popping image with a digital camera. In fact, I see travelers shooting the landscape all the time and I’m even guilty of it myself. So, if you appreciate the scenic images and enjoy shots of nature, you can experience the warm fall colors of Branson, MO in October. Just remember to bring a lot of film or perhaps plenty of storage for your digital camera.

I Resorted to Using a Dictionary

Do you have a concept of what a resort is? I thought I knew what one was until I noticed that there are many types of lodging that are referred to as “resorts”.

I would see hotel-looking resorts, cabin style resorts, and even resorts that looked like you average neighborhood. And it seems as though there is alwaya some sort of special feature attached to a resort. There are golf resorts, ski resorts, and even fishing resorts.

So I decided to just look it up. Amazing isn’t it? You can make a resort out of just about anything you want.

Since just about anything can be a resort, I decided to take a moment to include a couple of the Branson resorts many visitors seem to appreciate.

Located on Table Rock Lake just south of Branson, Big Cedar Lodge is a resort area for the nature lovers frequenting the Ozarks in search of peaceful scenic relaxation. This resort has many facets, each with a little twist on the nature theme that consistently permeates the decor of all its parts.

Thousand Hills

This golf resort offers a variety of lodging options. From cabins to condos, and even 4 bedroom units. Although the theme is golf, it is also referred to as a conference center. One thing is for certain, It’s conveniently located in the heart of Branson, MO just off Highway 76.

The Next Big Pro to Land in Branson

The next anchor to open at the Branson Landing will be Bass Pro. The new store is located on the south end of the development and is scheduled to be open to the public on June 8, 2006. Rather than going into details and rewriting all the applicable information, I’ll just let you know that you can read Bass Pro’s own press release here.
