News and area information on current events in Branson, Missouri.
I noticed that today there is an article on in the Branson Daily News regarding interest rates and the lending situation. In the article, bank representatives in the Branson area are asked for their thoughts on the current economical situation and how it affects Southwest Missouri. As expected, they speak about various factors involved in reaching a conclusion. You can find the article here.
A new search tool for Missouri real estate is proving to be an effective way to find the most interesting homes. I decided to do a quick search for homes that are priced above $4,000,000 in the Branson, MO area. Much to my surprise there was one. In fact the home I found was is nearly $5,000,000, but who’s counting?
Although the home is listed as a single family home, I’m sure it is large enough for more than one. This could truly be considered a dream home.
Missouri Realty Watch - the home of this search tool - also features a Missouri real estate blog featuring various aspects of real estate in the “Show Me State”.
The Branson scene featured agent of the month for October is Dustin Hall. Dustin mentions in his about page why he likes working in the real estate industry. He has a family of his own and enjoys helping other ‘families find their dream home’. He is an agent of Sunset Realty Services of Branson, a real estate firm specializing in vacation property management and property in the Ozarks including Branson lake homes.
If you’re searching for a passionate real estate professional, Connie Bickler is calling out for your attention. Her website provides some background information and some of her interests.
Connie’s home page indicates that she has experience in a variety of fields and she highlights her passion for excellence. If you are looking for an agent with passion, you may want to consider Connie for your Branson real estate needs.
Every month this website features an area office and discusses specific features and claims found on the website of the firm. For the month of June we will be taking a look at Sunset Realty Services.
This Branson real estate company has its office right in downtown Branson and is conveniently located on Pacific street.
The Sunset Realty website states that these agents want to help you find your dream home and they take it a step further by offering a fully search-able MLS database.
Besides the search tool they provide a list of their featured Branson homes and properties which allows their visitors the ability to see all of Sunset’s listings with one click.
School information and a broker disclosure can also be found on the website as well.
We Are the Champions
That’s the implied message on the website of this Ozarks real estate firm. If your browsing with IE 7 you’ll hear the song fire up upon landing on the home page.
There certainly is a lot going on on the website and if that is any indication of the efforts of the agents working out of the Aux-Arcs office, they are plugging away!
Action, action, and more action! If you like lively websites while you’re browsing for a home, this one is a must see!
Every month (that’s the target) on this website, one area agent is featured and some information is posted regarding them and why they are a choice for home buyers and/or sellers.
Real Estate Expertise
For the month of April, Loann Barter has been chosen as the featured agent. On Loann’s website, she promotes the idea that she is a Tri-lakes expert that serves as a real estate agent. It is important to buyers and sellers alike that the agent through which they choose to buy or sell be familiar with the area since each locale has various nuances.
As a general rule, one can get a good idea of the predominate qualities of the agent by reading through some testimonials from actual clients. Each real estate professional chooses what content to provide site visitors but most agents include, like Loann, a testimonials page.
Bottom line: If you are looking for an expert in area of the Tri-Lakes region, Loann appears to be willing to take a shot at showing you why she’s worthy of the title.
What is it really that a real estate firm provides for its clients? Sure we all realize that when it comes to selling property, it is much easier if novices let the real estate professionals do what they do best. Yet, what is it really they do?
Marketing Property
When you think about it, REALTORS® really are marketers that are very good at networking. With so many different forms of advertising available, real estate agents must stay on top of the current trends and the Branson real estate market is no different.
Putting together a system that works for the good of the client is what seems to be important when you consider commissions agents get from a sale of real estate.
Learn How a Firm Works for You
When selecting a firm to handle your real estate needs, be sure to find out what the agency does to serve you, the client. Perhaps you can call the office and discuss this. Another way of learning the common practice of a particular firm is by visiting their website and looking for a page that talks about the efforts the agency makes to market. Pages like the one used by this Branson real estate firm can help you to grasp what it is they really do to help you, the customer, benefit from their services.
In conclusion, the point of this post is to encourage you to be selective in your choice of real estate professionals when you are searching for a credible agency. This is somewhat easier to achieve with a little research.
This month’s featured agent is Tammie Turner. According to her website she has been a resident of the area for over twenty years. This would seem to make her a great candidate as your Branson real estate professional.
Her testimonials page is pretty impressive here are some snippets:
“She made the difference–the end result was a happy and successful one.”
“Our experience with Tammie Turner was the best real estate relationship we have ever had.”
“We would certainly recommend Tammie Turner to anyone wanting to purchase a home or property in the Tri-Lakes area.”
“She has a way of making you feel like she’s been your friend forever.”
If you would like to, you can certainly visit her website to learn more about her and you can read the unabbreviated testimonials.
According to Patty Silliman, this is the result of ‘everything she touches‘. Patty is a Re/Max agent serving in the Branson area and cares for a selection of Branson and Hollister properties she features on her website.
No agent profile information is present on Patty’s website at the time of this post, so unfortunately, we cannot elaborate on her experience. However, you got to admit a real estate agent offering to turn your home’s status from ‘house for sale’ to ‘house sold’ stirs interest.
Because of Patty’s apparent commitment, she has become Branson Scene’s February, 2007 featured Branson real estate agent.
