Man! 80+ for temperatures two days in a row. It’s a good thing I watered my grass Saturday. I can’t imagine what the temperature feels like at Silver Dollar City (the blacktop must be insanely hot). However, that must be where all the people are, since I do not see any shopping at Factory Merchants.

  • April 6th, 2006

Branson saw the opening of another department store in March. Belk recently held its grand opening and it was apparent when I went into the 68,000 sq. ft. sales floor that the residents of Branson were happy to have real department stores. I was in the store for mere minutes and heard all good things about it and the new Target store that opened about a month ago. The Branson boom that everyone has been talking about is finally happening.
