Thanks to bigdoug for requesting it.
Recently my wife and I took a vacation and we flew to our destination. It got me thinking how a lot of people enjoy the experience. (by the way, I’m not one that enjoys it)
Since so many people like flying, I decided to post about a sightseeing tour that has been in Branson for as long as I can remember. Table Rock Helicopters has been giving tours in the sky of Branson for decades. According to the website, there are six tours varying in length. Each tour covers a different area of interest and all tours include Lake Table Rock.
If you’re like me, every now and then you want to let people know that you appreciate them. Whether it is a co-worker, loved one, or a friend, you may want to get them a gift of some sort. Many times, searching high and low for the perfect gift might seem impractical, especially when the recipient may already have something in mind that they want.
A “Certified” Answer
Because these situations occur often, most shopping centers, as well as individual stores offer gift certificates or gift cards you can purchase for people. This way the recipient can purchase exactly what they want, thus resulting in the perfect gift. But how do you know what scope to purchase the certificate or card in?
Purchasing gift certificates from shopping centers provides a flexibility factor. How so? Well, gift certificates purchased from a shopping center can be used in any shop in the center, wheras a certificate or gift card purchase from a store can only be used at the store from which it was purchased.
Branson Shopping Gift Card and Certificate Info
Information about gift cards and gift certificates for Branson’s shopping centers can be found at:
Factory Merchants Branson - This page allows you to select your state and purchase a gfit card right online. Truly fast and easy.
Factory Shoppes at Branson Meadows - This outlet center is owned by the same company as Factroy Merchants Branson, and the gift cards purchased from the previous link are good here as well.
Tanger Outlet Center - Tanger Outlet Center also allows the purchase of gift cards online.
Branson Landing - As of yesterday, you cannot purchase gift certificates for the Branson Landing to be used in any shop. The officials I spoke with suggested I buy gift certificates from the individual stores in the complex.
About a month ago, I posted about a very helpful site geared toward Branson show reviews. (BransonCritic.org) Well it appears as though they have a new editor. Her name is Miss Kim. Her page is here and I’ll be labeling the page in Google coop in the next few days.
If you visit Branson and would like to give some feedback, you can send reviews here.
Visitors seek a fun, peaceful, and hospitable place to rest during their Branson, MO getaway. Because of their nature, many find the bed and breakfast to be the only suitable choice for lodging when going on vacation.
Scenery contributes to the relaxing atmosphere, and hospitality heightens the sense of peace, allowing for a joyful experience. One of Branson’s newest bed and breakfasts seems to have it figured out. They have only been open since October of 2005 and are already getting great feedback from their guests. There is new way to see Branson, Missouri.

The Branson Sightseeing Tour Bus is the latest of a significant group of sightseeing tour operators providing tours of the area. These buses are interesting to say the least, simply because they are open air when the top is off.
That’s right! convertable bus! That see-through cover comes right off! I see them all the time around Branson. They have regular stops along three routes. I just wrote an article about various kinds of sightseeing operatons in which I mention these buses and include links to their routes. Read the article here.
Last year Branson welcomed a new sightseeing attraction to the area. The 200,000 cubic foot hot air balloon floated high above the Branson landscape throughout 2005. However, the balloon has been grounded for the last couple of months.
Inflation Celebration!
That is how the private event is being billed. To be held on Wednesday June 14, 2006, 80 guests will attend as the giant 105 foot orb that Branson residents grew used to seeing nested in the horizon reclaims its position.
The Branson Balloon is one of the latest sightseeing attractions in Branson, Missouri. You can learn more about the hot air balloon here.
Anytime you get people that aren’t familiar with an area sharing two lanes of traffic designed to channel everyone into a circle, you’re going to get some accidents. The Branson Newspaper has an article about this unique traffic feature. It seems as though there have been a couple of wrecks. Hmmm… go figure!
The next anchor to open at the Branson Landing will be Bass Pro. The new store is located on the south end of the development and is scheduled to be open to the public on June 8, 2006. Rather than going into details and rewriting all the applicable information, I’ll just let you know that you can read Bass Pro’s own press release here.
